We can hardly wait to see the world-famous sights and landmark of the city — the Sydney Opera House — with our own eyes. The unique building with its shell-shaped roof construction in front of us is breathtaking and fascinating. Depending on the angle of view and the position of the sun, the Sydney Opera House always shows a new, impressive face.
The Opera House was designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon and opened in 1973 after 14 years of construction. The fascinating building has also been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007. The Sydney Opera House is one of the largest cultural centers in the world with around 1,600 events per year.
