In the west of Manhattan, near the Hudson River, is the High Line Park. This extraordinary park was created on a closed freight train track. This elevated railway ran about 7.5 meters above the street level of New York. The track length of the High Line was more than 2 kilometers. In 2006 – 2019, this former freight train track was gradually transformed into a beautiful park. Today, the High Line is a planted oasis in the heart of Manhattan.
